I can't wait until after Nov 4th for these threads to stop.

Come on Wayne You really believe he was elected to the Senate without being a US citizen? And highlighting Hussein does nothing......his father was from Africa (Alego, Kenya), not the Middle East. Slight difference.
So basically, Mormonism is responsible for Utah's lack of patriotism? WTF!!!!
heheh
I
As for the whole "if you dont' vote you can't complain", well, in UT it doesn't matter much. .
I hear Barack Hussein Obama wasn't actually born a US Citizen! And that he didn't become a citizen until just last year. That's a little late, dontcha think?

You don't have to be a natural born US citizen to go into the senate, only as president. His father is a Kenyan citizen (even was married at the time and not to Barack Hussein Obama's mother) and was only in Hawaii on a student visa. He took his fathers name, not his mothers. If his mother gave up her custodial right as a parent - at birth, then Barack Hussein Obama is a natural born Kenyan citizen. The original birth certificate will say this on it, and Barack Hussein Obama will not disclose it. He's only disclosing a copy of one made last year and not the original. Thus only prooving that he is a citizen, not a natural born citizen.
Wow, spoken like a level headed and well respected intelligent person.....
The name calling is extremely pathetic and childish and only shows the true level of ones character.
Its simple, you have a right to vote, and a right not to vote. Not everyone gives a **** or has the time to sit around the tv and watch debates and ***** about America. Some of us are occupied by more important things in life like working, school, raising a family, etc. Not everyone has the time you must have to come to a clear decision on a vote. It doesnt make them less American. The same goes for people who decide to join the military. Just because others dont, doesnt make them less American either. Also you have to keep in mind that the people running for president often sell one thing, and never deliver it. They tell us things we want to hear for the vote, and it never comes to fruition.
I am pissing up a rope here and I dont know why, I really dont give a ****. This is why I hate talking religion and politics. People get all pissy and start insulting each other.
This is my last post, I am going to be a "moron" elsewhere.
I'm surprised to see this even highlighted? But you act as if you don't know so I'll treat you as such
Utah has a higher percentage of LDS youth than any other state in the US. That said males age 19-25 are encouraged to serve missions and females age 21-27 are also encourage though seemingly not in the masses men are. 62% of recruits nationwide are under 22 years old.
Add to that with the low age of marriage here in Utah. Many 21 year old males (other states) are trying to do something with their lives, the military makes a great option, here in Utah the average 21 year old male is fresh off a mission and looking to get married ASAP or already supporting a wife and child. Not the typical candidate for the services.
Utah also has an higher than average high school graduation percentage, bachelor degree percentage and business owner percentage. All things I would attribute to the numbers especially given the DOD's lowering of entrance standards including a double in level IV recruits. Sometimes its about "quality" not "quantity" While Alabama has the highest percentage of recruitment, it has one of the lowest percentages of what the DOD calls "high quality" recruits. (I'm not making this up its in your link )
Anyone know where their definition of "youth" is? I couldn't find it anywhere on their site and I'm suspecting that actually has something to do with the numbers as well. Utah has a far higher percentage of "youth" under the age of 18 than most (all?) states (yeah big surprise I know ). So if their "youth" number is say 15-25 they Utah would lack in the overall numbers.
He's not for everyone, but neither am I....
"Here is my final point. About drugs, about alcohol, about pornography and smoking and everything else. What business is it of yours what I do, read, buy, see, say, think, who I f-, what I take into my body - as long as I do not harm another human being on this planet?"
and his point is? I would imagine it's some pro-something crap here. I don't go up there and get turds out before it's time.Childbirth is no more a miracle then eating food and a turd coming out of your a**.
Is this where the anti-gun idea on the left comes from? I thought if I wasn't affecting anyone it was all good? Why does interferance with me when it comes to guns is a good thing and you on drugs is ok? It's not like I come to you're house and steal your drugs to buy my guns. This stupid quote just makes me scream "get a job hippie"."It's just a ride and we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money, a choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your door, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one."
