Ridiculous motorized tripod thing in Draper

I was driving south on 700 East thru draper last night around 6:15ish and saw one of the most absurd things I've seen in a long time.
My boys and I laughed for a good ten minutes.
It was right in front of Pirate O's on 7th... it was about 14-15 feet tall overall, three legs with two tires per leg, and a platform about ten feet in the air. On the platform there appeared to be a small motor, a large 150-200 gallon plastic tank, and a really grumpy looking old man. I'd guess he was doing 10 MPH northbound on 7th, with cars stacking up behind him. The thing looked to be over a lane wide, I'm sure watching people pass him would have been entertaining.

I didn't get a pic, but I'd really like to figure out what it was.

sounds like a row crop sprayer, of some sort.

Yeah... a home made ghetto sprayer is quite likely. I'm kind of thinking it may have been heading to that orchard on 7th.

I wish I had pics... I might go scout the area sometime and try to find it. There was no way I could have caught the pic in traffic, and I had people waiting on me, so I couldn't stop.
