I am in need of cleaning supplies for the two rifles I recently brought home with me. Give me your recommendation for where you buy your stuff.
They are good for what they are but they don't replace a cleaning rod, get a good one piece cleaning rod too.crimsonride said:yeah, boresnakes. I was trying to think of the name. Those things are great.

Tacoma said:The cop shop by Mepco probably has some too.
BlackSheep said:is this place in SLC or in Toolee?
what about a name for this place? or is 'cop shop' the name?

Been looking into the BoreSnake and other cleaning options... I think I'm gonna pick one up one of these days. Anyone know who carries them local?
What is a good cleaner/lube oil to run? I've been using Hoppes for years, but I've seen some all in one cleaner, lubes, rust preventers that seem to be all the talk.
How often do you clean your guns?
How often is just enough. I clean mine every time I use em....you shoot it, you clean it.Meat_ said:I still just use Hoppe's #9, I worked at Barnes and just thinking of the smell of CR10 makes me sick.
I don't clean mine anywhere near often enough... many people clean thier guns WAY more than you need to. I have too many to clean regularly, which is why I started buying mostly stainless.
