As long as I have enough notice. It might be better to do it on a weekday for traffic.

I thought 21 was north of Grand Junction?

march or april sounds better to me...it would still be pretty cold in february if any camping is involved (much harder to convince the wife it would be a fun trip )

That's what I thought. 21 is the distance in miles from the Utah border. Grand justion starts at 26 miles from Utah border. Montrose is 2 hours south.

Set a date, I want to go! My first and only experience with 21 road was July 4th a few years ago and it was miserable. Ended short cause the CJ following me broke a u-joint, tie rod, steering box brace, and ripped the steering box off the frame all at once! That sucked trying to fix it enough to get off the trail in 100+ heat, with millions of tiny biting flies around...
