Have you seen that "chubby" kids calves? They look like they're made out of steel! I bet Dom could out pedal Lance A. (or at least keep up for a while) :D

Yeah, I wheel for a reason. That reason being that I get to see the great outdoors with out physically exhausting myself, it is much more relaxing and enjoyable in the front seat of a Jeep!

and yet the idea of exhausting yourself by running in an urban jungle for 26.2 miles sounds appealing??? explain the logic :p

The old Giant Bike hasnt been out in more than a year. Porcupine Rim sounds fun as long as its mostly downhill:D

Official Day for the RME Porcupine Rim ride is Oct 19th!

Sunday, Oct 19th, 2008
Meet at the parking area/trail head for Porcupine Rim at 9:30 am. Be there on time, or be fast and try catching up!

Seems like most folks prefer the 19th, so we'll run with that.

If you're riding this trail with us, come prepared! I have had 2 flat tires within 100 yrds on this trail, it's brutal on tubes. Bring patch kits and a pump! Also, bring plenty of water! Your bike should be in good riding shape, it's a long walk out of your ride breaks down!

I plan on being in Moab for the Oct 19th, but I have no mountain bike. :p

I wont make it that weekend :) But Shane, if you want a mountain bike I have a fairly nice one that has had about 300-400 in upgrades this year, or... replacement parts full suspension but no lockouts..... pm if you wanna use it.

Thanks for the offer, but it's been MANY years since I've been on a mnt. bike, I'd probably break it.

I have seen pics of you man, i dont think you could break this bike :p But your welcome to it, I am thinking of selling it this year, looking at getting 600. Not sure what they go for anymore, I know I paid 1800 for it about 8 or 9 years ago
