Road Armor Bumpers

I just aquired the Road Armor dealership in my area(customers request). I am installing them on 2 new Tacoma's front and rear with winches. Does anyone have experience with this brand? Stong enough for hard pulls etc? Will the warn 8274 fit the front?

Side note here, big shout out to Kurt, huge help on the CBI guys, what a great source! They will be building sliders and roof racks. The roof racks will be custom to take the rigid 40" lights bars on all 4 sides!

8274 winch mounts differently than other winches - different mounting bolt pattern and orientation. Unless the bumper was specifically designed for the 8274, it isn't likely to fit.

You acquired a bumper dealership, but don't know if they are any good?

Maybe I'm reading that wrong.

The 8274 has unique mounting points and dimensions due to its large spur gear reduction. Most 6500 to 12k winches have common mounting patterns.

I know they nice bumpers but have heard rumors of them tearing apart under hard pulls. I am putting them on 2 trucks for a customer of mine as per his request. Just hoping they will be good when they actually are used.

Thanks for the info on the 8274's they are all I have and use and was hoping they would fit. I really like the speed and the cable capacity they provide.

Road Armor actually started with Trail Ready back in the early 2000's, and yes, their bumpers were great back then. After a few years the partners/companies split and went their own ways. They used to be great, but don't know much about them recently. They look beefy. You've already heard about the 8274 so you know it won't fit a conventional winch bumper.
