Yeah, throw us together in just 2 or 3 classes. Some rigs will be outclassed, and some people will whine about it....but if people come in just wanting to have fun it'll all turn out OK. :)

Theres a big difference in this comp being for charity and one with a few hundred dollar purse. Throw me in with the pros if its for charity....never know what might happen.

We just have to make it WELL known that this is a charity comp. No cash prizes. That way everyone there will have fun

Free Retro Rock Crawl!

Here is what the county told me for this event, they are not making me buy insurance to cover them for this event as long as everything is free. They have also thrown in free use of the park for this event as long as no fees are charged. This means no competitor entry fees, no spectator fees, no camping fees and no sponsor fees. I will most likely need some liability insurance to cover myself in case something happens. To cover personal insurance and have some cash for land use and charity donations, each person at the event would have the option of donating some amount of money if they wanted. Nothing would be required of anyone, everything would be voluntary. I don't have this agreement in writing, but it came from the person who runs the park. Please provide comments on this forum or email direct.

 Very cool Craig, let me know what RME can do to help. I may enter the TJ just for fun! A Wrangler with 60's, 40's, 104" WB and a V8 ought to make for a fun Modified rig. :greg:

Too cool, that is awesome. I think you'll raise more for land use this way. Can't wait. Hope the buggy is finished by then.

Hah, your both wrong. Beckie loves me. No worries about it being green, it won't be. I hear you can't get that color running.
