Ok, so I came across an awesome product..

consists of 8, 3 watt LED pods making it the brightest LED strobe light system on the market. No more unreliable ballasts or bulbs to burn out. Weatherproof housings allows these Tantrum pods to be mounted anywhere; in headlights, undercar, wheel wells, under dash or even in a speaker box. Each kit comes with master controller, wireless remote and built in microphone. When dependability and performance are factors in your field,

How bright are they though? My problem with LED's is I haven't found any that light up near as well as a normal 55w bulb. I'd love to switch to somthing that doesn't go out every trip....I replaced 3 bulbs in 7 days over EJS.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that run you? Or where's a link to purchase them?

edit: damn...found them for ~$150 everywhere....would be worth it if they end up being bright enough. Post some pics after you install them :D

They're made by vision x and the kits is $120. But they don't seem to be that bright. I use some lights from harbor freight and have had them for 3 yes and have never burned out.

I have these on my buggy and they rock. Its a party everywhere I go (strobe, patterns etc) I think they are more than bright enough. Also awesome company to deal with. Great product IMO.
