Does anyone have hydraulic steering on their xj? Do you think it's a good upgrade, or not worth it for a daily driver/trail rig... future trailer rig.

I'm a newbie to this Forum. I don't have a XJ. I have an '85K5 w/ WTO hydro assist. On a D60 w/ cross over hysteer behind the axle, I love the hydro assist. 1.75" ram. It has good street manners, but has great power in the rocks. later Ed

Yep, Rock Logic kit is awesome! My brother and also my friend both have it on their Toyotas and they say out of everything they've done, It is at the top of the list for best modification. Handles real well on the street too!

I'll provide a 3rd approval for RL's Hydro Assist.

One of my friends added their Hydro Asst. to his competition Bronco & he said it was the best money he ever spent on his Rig!

Plus, it's way affordable...

IMO that would be the single best thing you could do for the box being mounted on the uni-body... maybe then you would has less of a chance of ripping it off the frame

I personally don't like RL's kit... why? Because I still have to put it on... :D:D
(hint... hint.... Carl?... Von?.... I'll buy lunch... :D)

I have their kit sitting... waiting for my lazy junk to put on... I can tell you from a strength/quality aspect... everything looks top notch. ;)

I have no complaints about my Rock Logic hydro-assist set up,Great product and especially great price and speedy service they did on my steering box... haven't had a chance to try it out on the trail, but it works great on the street and cruising the MALL...
