So I haven't been able to take my Tacoma out yet because I am still finishing up little things and it has been slow going due to school. I decided to pull it out of the garage tonight and apparently my 3 year old son feels it can't be considered a rock crawler unless there is some rock rash on it. So while I turned my back to drill a hole he grabbed a rock and did the deed. So without even taking it out yet its official. Damn kids!

I've found it helps your sanity level if you have a camera handy and can catch them in the act... Doesn't help the paint but in 10 years no one cares about the paint.

years ago, I helped a freind prep a 57'chevy for paint, months of hammering and straightening this car into perfection, once it got paint, new windows, new interior.. it was finished.......Until his 3 yr old who had watched his daddy bang on cars with hammers, decided to copy his dad on the brand new paint job, before either of us could get over to him it was too late.

I think he did you a favor, now you don't have to worry about the first scratch. Whew, glad that is over.

I had a truck with the white lettering out on the tires. I always cleaned the lettering with an SOS pad. Well, one day I left the truck home and my son decided he was going to wash my truck for me and went under the kitchen sink to get an SOS pad and washed my whole truck with an SOS pad. The little bugger even climbed in the bed and got around the rear window. Luckily, I was able to polish it out with a buffer but he got every panel but the roof.He is now 15 and as careful as he is, still puts the first scratch in all my vehicles. Yes, he is still alive and no he hasn't been beaten for any of them.
