Not sure if any of our vendors carry Garvin, but I had a Garvin Wilderness rack a long time ago... it was well built and looked good too. http://www.garvin-industries.com/

If you want any advice about a spare tire up top though, I'd recommend strapping it down in the cargo area or building/buying a rear carrier. That weight up top can add up quickly and raise your COG considerably. Just my $.02. :)

My ZJ feel noticably different (as in BAD) with the tire on the roof. I had my 32"tire and High lift on the factory rack, with the tire resting on the rubber strips of the roof, and it felt weird and top heavy. I put the spare back in the OEM location (just barely... it fit) and I put the high lift across the back of the rear seats, and secured them. It feels much better now, and was well worth the storage space.
I know plenty of people who have their spares on top, and seem to be just fine, but I won't do it anymore.

I second the motion to strap it down in the cargo area. Not only is it added weight up top to help you roll, but big tires are HEAVY, and thus a b*tch to lift up to the roof.
