Rotater Cuff

Just found out today that I small tear in my rotater cuff on my right shoulder.


Wondering who all has had this problem and how long it took to recover.​

I had 3 tears in the rotator with my bicep torn and pulled down my arm... the surgery was done in 2007 and it took me 4 months to get back to work... now my tears were pretty serious and not just small ones...

Dr. T up at the U of U orthopedics center is the best if you can have him do the surgery!

No surgery at this point. I'm hoping I that I caught it soon enough that it won't get any worse.

The freaking steriod they injected it with this morning has made my shoulder sorer and stiffer than ever.

I've got a tear in the labrum, which is described to me as the o-ring that keeps the ball of your shoulder in the socket... Currently on week 3 of a pretty rigorous PT program of stabilizing exercises, hoping to keep the blades out of my arm.
I passed on the steroids, since they don't fix the issue. My therapy guy said it was a couple months for him, I am expecting about 4mos.
