I'm really interested in buying this kit to link my 96 runner when i run into some money i.e. tax returns. basically i was wondering if anyone on here has used it. love it or hate it? a couple people on pirate have posted up about it so just looking for some input or alternatives. also, is it worth payin the 150 extra bucks for tube or can someone here sell it for cheaper? just tryin to get all the kinks worked out before the build starts.

I sell the 3 link kits ruff stuff makes and they are sweet. Built the way it should be and very flexible, i got one for my 4runner and i will be installing is soon if your interested you can come see it. As for the DOM i can get it a little cheaper for you than ruff stuff because of no shipping

Yeah i would love to see it! the only thing i'm really worried about is the whole angles thing with the links. i can weld pretty good and cutting will be pretty easy. whats your cost for the link kits? and what front axle are you running?

Ruff stuff makes and excellent product. Another option is the trail-gear 3 link kit. It is specifically made for your application so it takes a bunch of the guesswork out of it. Angles and all that will be taken care of. It also comes with the DOM tube needed for the install. It is more expensive, but maybe worth it in savings of time and guesswork.

Now that I have done the TG kit (it was the right direction for me for the first time around) and i understand the dynamics alittle better for a toyota I would do the RS kit next time, there are many here on rme that could help you with the RS kit.

^I agree with what you have said. I sell ruff stuff as well and both the RS and TG kits are excellent. I was simply addressing his worry about the angles of the links.

we sell the 3 link kits for $520 with out the DOM for the links let me know if you want to order them i can help you set it up also if your afraid of doing it wrong, when i get ready to put mine in you can come see and it will give you a better idea

I can handle that. i'm going to be doin this after i get my tax returns and probably will end up having to sell my 84 pick up to come up with the cash. hopefully i can spend less than 3000 bucks without wheels and tires. with a fully built dana 44. and i would love to come look at yours. I picked up that 2 inch tube from you off your runner bumper if you remember that and you were hackin off the top of your runner but that was 4 months ago most likely

thanks! they look like they do! i just picked mine up and it looks good now i need some tube and some other parts and it will be chop time :p
