i'm not a rockkrawler suspension fan at all and claytons is way to tall for my liking. maybe ill just have to go custom or whats ur opinion on rubicon express kit? i know a guy u can get it to me for alot less then listed price.

I installed Clayton's with 4.5" rubicon express springs... it works great, and I've seen very few suspension kits that can come close the the quality of clayton's... including the rubicon express kit that it replaced.

i do like claytons kit especially the triangulated rear which i loved on my old tj so id like to do that again so guess i'll just have to think about it i guess especially if ur running 4.5" springs with it i could handle that.

IMO Clayton's is the only way to go if your going to get a kit. I have the Rocky-road outfitter style super sliders. They are holding up strong and I have had some really hard hits on them (pritchett wasn't nice to me). Mine are just bolted on and bolted to the pinch seam to. But I am going to modify them a bit in the future and that is when I will weld them on. They are gaurenteed not to bend so I'm not to worried about anything that will happen. Kevin's also makes some really nice ones as well.

its a 94 4.0l i believe its the aw4 and I know its the 231 tcase. it has a procomp 3" lift and 31's with a lp30 front and 35c in the rear. my plan is to build a 44 that i have out of a scout for it in the rear and i have a hp30 from an xj i might build and put into it. My end goal is kinda expedtion/crawler setup with 33's or maybe 35's. Also tnt customs is coming out with there zj long arm nxt month so I might just go with that cause I think its awesome!

I built my own sliders, 11 bolts per pinch weld, and welded to the unibody chassis frame tube thing. They were originally bolted to the inside, and held up fairly well... some hard hits and high lifting had cause a bit of tweakage int he two years of bolt on status, but now they are welded. Mine are very similar in outward appearance to Kevin's sliders, but I'm really not sure how Kevin's mount. I'd be happy to take some closer pics of mine if you want to have a local shop replicate them. IMO, the combination of excessive bolts along the pinch weld and being welded to the inner tubes (my rear legs are welded to my Clayton brackets) is the strongest way to go.
