Sabotage Motorsports 1994 Toyota 1450 Build

So we picked this Toyota up a few years back and after some fun we decided to race it. Threw a cell in along with some other safety items and we went racing. The truck worked pretty good after some tuning and we had some good times but after a while I decided it was time for a tear down. Pulled the trigger, bought a cnc plasma table, cleaned a few things out of the shop and organized(threw the cnc table in the paint booth haha) and then "Maxine" was in her caccoon.

Mission Statement:

Push the 3.4 back and down
Remove 4wd( I know I know but it's heavy and such)
Wider/stronger rear axle
Sabotage Motorsports full custom long travel kit w/ coilover, bypass, and bumps
Better steering column
Tacoma One piece clip(thanks fiberwerx!)
Linked rear (most likely wishbone 3-link)
Anything else that comes up and a bunch of little things I have yet to list.

About the earliest pic I have. This was soon after buying it.

It was just a mild prerunner but with every change it became more and more of a race truck.

that is some awesome work, i love the tig work, you have real talent with your designs

Thanks man, I didnt always want my builds to be over the top. There was a time when I was content with just good enough, but knowing the people I know and the fact that I have learned from some great fabricators means that if I don't do top notch work I would feel like I'm letting them and myself down.

Headed to the shop now, see if I can't get my idler arm done.

So I 100% said screw it and went on a solo mission in search of Jim morrison and the naked indian.

Day started fun and care free with me checking out a few areas I have little knowlege of.

Do I miss 4wd? Eh not really, do I miss my jeep? Yes! I mostly just decided it's time for some traction aid and bigger tires.

Probably never have a vehicle I can do this with again.

Nice work,
Dana 44 spindles?
Yeah they are Ford TTB D44 snouts, hubs and rotors. The calipers are 70s chevy half ton and that is also what I plan to use on the rear, so that means new products I need to make in the form of 9" to chevy caliper brackets haha.

Glad you got out. Sorry I wasn't around to give you a tug.

It's cool you can make it up to me later ;)
I was actually very amazed I got any cell service out there. I had water, two milk& cereal bars and there was a fire pit not far away so I was chill with a campout.
Thanks to Duggy and Jake for being ready to rescue me.
