Anybody else participating in any of the events this Saturday? I'm doing the half. Hoping for no rain...

Just looked at the forecast. Weather Channel says low of 48, high of 58, partly cloudy. That sounds about perfect! 50 degrees is about my perfect running temperature, although it'll be cold before the start.

The downhill-ness of it is the only thing that worries me. I don't know what that's going to do to my legs. I'd prefer the course to be flattish.

No bet here. What I do can`t really be called "racing". Maybe if I'm lucky I'll be able to draft behind her breifly.

It was a fluke. She'll crush me next time.

The female marathon winner had the last name of Cannon. I would have believed you if you said it was her.

It was raining a bit when I was driving to gateway before the start, but it stopped before I got off the train. I noticed it started to sprinkle a little bit after I finished. Really the weather was just about perfect. I wouldn't have wanted it much warmer. I did wear gloves the whole run, but I always do that below 50 degrees.
