Salvage Yards help

Do you all know of any salvage yards in the valley that has a 3rd gen 4runner (199-02) in it.

I've come across very few and the ones that do those things are picked over and it's difficult to explain the part that I need. Transwest in Ogden has a 3rd gen put all the wiring is gone.

What I'm looking for is on top of the A/C Compressor there is a plug/connector with a single wire running to it. The wire that runs to it somehow manged to free itself from the female end of the plug (get you head out of the gutter). So what I'm looking for is the female end of the plug with a couple of inches of the wire so I can splice the two back together.


The plug/connector is a piaa to get to. Any help you all could give me would be welcome.

I have a bunch of little things on mine I need too. I have found some but they were also really picked over.

Have you checked to see if that component is used on any other Toyota vehicles? Something that might be a little easier to find.

I have seen a few at transwest in ogden, but they are all minus motor.

I'm pretty sure I spotted a third gen at Japanese Auto Wrecking in Lehi, when looking for parts for my first gen. Didn't take a good look at it, but it looked pretty complete.

Have you checked to see if that component is used on any other Toyota vehicles? Something that might be a little easier to find.

Only other one I can think of would be a Tacoma.

Bountiful Auto wrecking is hit and miss but they may have something, have you checked tear apart?

So I looked at that plug today on a tacoma. I also noticed on the 89 pickup I am working on that the plug looked very similar. I didn't unplug them to see if they were exactly the same but they looked very similiar. Just thought I'd throw that out there for you to look into. I can look closer tomorrow to see if they are the same.
