As alot of you know I've went through a few wheeling vehicles over the last few years....
toy runner
samurai
the sidekick
Now this 86 i'm building for my 13yr old son.I got him really hooked when I started letting him wheel the sidekick.Which I find more exciting to watch rather than being in the seat myself.

Spec's
rear disk's
Suby master cyl
4.1 t-case
Detroit's F/R
29" tsl sx's
SPOA RUF/CJ's rear
Bumper's/slider's
dang near flat belly built Skid plate
86" wheelbase
Still need to shave the axle's/armor them, add a winch maybe some diff gear's.....

Next in line will be my wife's tracker which will be built very similar how the sidekick was.

He should have all sorts of fun with that! It looks really good. It should go all sorts of places! I wouldn't mind a few inches longer wheelbase, but don't want to cut the body on it.

That's a sweet samurai, I think it's great that you can have a project with your son it will really help keep you close through those teenage years. Looks good!

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
Just think how much easier it will be to get him to do his chores....if he wants gas money. -_-
