I was hoping to have my lockright in the front this weekend but I don't think it will happen. I don't know how to do it. I need to get me a trailer so if I break then I can get home. I want to go on a trail pretty bad but if somthing in the front broke I wouldn't know how to fix it but I guess thats how oyu learn.

Yeah..........I didn't know that you could just turn the hub out if I broke the birf intell last week that made up my mind on putting the locker in the front I've got two spares and when they go I'll get the birfeild rings from spidertrax.

you will be surprised at just how much flex you can do without when fully locked.....do you drive this rig daily...?? If you get to not liking the spool on the street, just let me know and I will give you what you paid for it....;)

Correction: this is a "MINI"-spool. We're kicking around building a full spool that will bolt to the ring gear. Not sure if it makes sense financially, but checking it out.

Ummm....

I wouldn't recommend driving your rig if you have a busted Birf. The parts that break off will get jammed inside the enclosed knuckle and will lock up your wheel!

Get a couple spare Birfs, learn how to change them in the driveway and take the needed tools with you when you go wheelin next!

Oh, and enjoy wheelin with 2 locked up diffs! It's the only way to go! :D

Von,

Do you think you will be anywhere near the TT mini price point of $99?

How do you like it? What's it like on the street? I'm wondering if my daughter will have issues with it or not (she drives my sami to school and work).

Well i got the spool in and I love it is seem's alot stronger then the lockright. It's a pain to drive on the road. Terry i don't think it would be a good Idea to put the spool in if It's going to be a daily driver even the littles turn make the tires churp. I'm mainly going to just use my sami for just offroad but still drive it dwn town everyonce in a while. I've got some more pics of it after I got the spool in but i didn't get any pics of the hard stuff I needed some one to spot me. If you have anymore ? let me know.
