San Rafael ideas wanted

I am going to make a short trip to the San Rafael Swell coming up. I have picked up a county published bookle showing alot of the petroglyphs and dinosaur tracks reachable on well maintained roads, but wonder what else is out there and I should head for. We will stay in the Castledale area.

I will be in my Montero Sport (stock except for 32" BFG All-Terrians) and my Dad will be in either his 00 GC or 01 XJ- both stock. Not looking for rock crawling, but need to challange the rigs some, espically if the trail ends at something worth seeing.

devils race track is a good moderate trail. It has one huge arch that is pretty impressive. eagle canyon is good too(very easy trail, that runs under eagle canyon bridge on I-70). If you are by castledale maybe just use your map, I have driven around out there and found dinosaur bones and tracks just east of ferron. Devils race track and eagle canyon are along i-70 between Green River and Salina. Lots of pictographs and petroglyphs along I-70 on short dirt trails, can't tell you exactly where though, we just explore out there sometimes when we go to visit in-laws in Salina.
