Snakes 12-11-05

Well made another trip to the snakes this sunday with a group, went pretty well, nobody made it up waynes world, though i tried really hard. Then about 5 of us hit constrictor, several turned around and while I was climbing the eagles nest, my front air shock hoop broke off the frame taking my brake line with it. At first I thought I had crazy flex, like over 5 feet. Heres some pics.

I would have liked to continue, but Austin (my 2 month old son) was getting cranky. No way to heat his bottle, it was too cold outside to fead him, he was getting cold, etc...etc... So after WW, I turned for home. I was also unsure of my rear diff....That locker is toast and it was banging and popping all day. Even on the way home...Thankfully I had 4hi :D

the truck looks nice jeremy a bit more tube work to attach the front cage to the rear and your set.

I think so too...Because the front D44 I can always put the Warn hub kit on and change it over to 30 spline inner and outer. Which is enough for a front on a TJ. I could put basically the same kit on the back and make it a full floater, but I would still have a D44.

ya im a firm beleiver in if u build a d44 for what your doing you always tend to push the limit. then all of a sudden u need a d60 or some moser shafts or something.

with my last upgrade (d60 front) it was a no brainer. i dont think i will run a truck without a d60 front nad 14/d60 rear.

Well, I just put some 4140 axles in it, so I dont' think I'll break another if I was to just replace the locker. But I think it's time to go back down to 35's and just replace the locker...:(
