I'm 6'2". Frame size is a really personal thing, but I'd guess at his height, a Large or maybe even Medium would fit better. XL feels pretty big for me, so I've put a little shorter stem on this to make it fit like I wanted it to. There is only one way to find out - and that is ride it!
