Seat cushion advice

I just drove my 4runner for over 200 miles for the first time, and my rear end is in pain. Any seat cushion add-ons that seem to work well for pain-in-the-butt driving?

Eat more twinkies and don't exercise?

There is always the aftermarket seat option. I've heard Mastercraft seats are very nice.

When I was a tech for Ford, we had a customer who was constantly complaining about their driver seat. We actually ordered another lower seat cushion and installed it in the seat, so there where two of them in there. It was a huge PITA to stretch the seat cover back over it, but they never complained again.

Ha ha! That ain't happenin'. If there's anything I like more than offroading, it's hiking to the tops of mountains or up to a Uinta lake to fish.

I'll check into that.

Hmm. Sounds like a good solution if I could find someone that could do it.
Maybe I'll just have to stop and get out and walk around more. I need to solve this before my September trip to Yosemite.

I have had the Mastercraft 3G and Beard in my off-road cars they are full suspention seats and very easy on the but and lower back because they hold you in place and in proper siting posture...down side is you wont be able to move much while driving and they run about $700 per seat.

I would look at the Mastercraft Rubicon, the are more than comfortable on a long trail ride, still allow you to move around easily, and are only about $300-$400 depending on options and color, or you can get the Mastercraft RS, bout the same as the Rubicon, but it reclines. They run about $400-$500ish,, 4wheelparts sells them for pretty cheap.
The 3G model is more of an extreme racing seat. Check out their website for all the seat options and color choices. Its really a cool site.
