ok guys just spent some cash on an 8" 1350 Lumen light bar and while im waiting to get it friday I need to figur out where to place it and such. My main concern is securing it. Is there some way to secure these so they arent stolen or do you just pray that they dont?

You can you security hardware that requires a special driver. Or on the through bolt for the mounting feet just put a tack weld on the bold and nut.

Thanks guys. Once I get it on friday ill check the length of bolt and thread then get some of the loss prevention bolts from loss prevention fasteners.

Bolt and nut supply carries these type of things and are a local
company with excellent customer service.

it doesnt matter what bolt you use to screw it down someone will steal it if they want it, whatever bolts you choose make sure you cant get vice grips on it. Watch someone is going to steal your whole bumper now just for the light..

When I do mine, I'm thinking I will be using the nuts that break away during tightening and making my bracket so that it will be hard to get a tool on the cone that is left. Just have to make certain that I get the light exactly where I want it before cranking down on the nut!
