Seeking escape from reality

Stressed office worker needs escape from civilization, pronto. Anyone interested in a mid-August weekend four-wheel trip to/through Robbers Roost (and possible hike to Horseshoe Canyon) or Little Egypt, Needles or Comb Ridge? Maybe I could take a day off and make it a three-day weekend.

Oh yeah. That's part of the decompression process. Cook some chili over the campfire and lay out my sleeping bag under the stars. If it rains, I just park on a high spot and sleep beneath a tarp tied to my Jeep.

Sounds fun, my wife and are are expecting our first grandchild around then so I will have to play it by ear. I will check your thread.
