Since 1996 when TeraFlex came out with the first TJ suspension kit at SEMA, TeraFlex has been at SEMA every year since then. This year TeraFlex is bringing 3 JK's to SEMA for display. The red 2012 2DR PreRunner will be in our booth. Dennis Wood's "Papa Smurf" will be also on display outside. It's rumored to be sporting some new product. :greg: The last 4dr JK, just had a HEMI transplant,TeraFlex axles installed along with a TeraFlex Long Arm Suspension. I will be there Nov.1-2 and will post pics to this thread while I am there.

Booth #35083

There will be at least 12 other JK's on display this year with TeraFlex Suspension installed.

They are AMP research steps. They fold down when the door is opened and tuck up when it's closed. They are not robust and won't take any hard hits. But that jeep was built for a customer in China and they requested them.
Buy the way, the Jeep is desert tan. :)

AMP has been making some neat stuff in other industries for a number of years. They had a pretty cool parallelogram-linkage fork for suspension bikes back in like, '89-90... One of their designers is also responsible for the most common 4-bar linkage design in use on mountain bikes right now, guy named Horst Leitner.

anyway. Their retractable slider/step things do their job well-- which is to provide a retractable step. :D Rockslide Engineering in Logan has something similar as well.

I really dig the look of that red 2-door.

I so wanted an AMP bike back in the day. I drooled over them every time I got my MTB mags in the mail.

This thread is making me want a new JK and and AMP bike just for good measure.

heh, yep, by the time they got them nailed down in '93 I was fully engulfed in the love of all things machined-- and the 90's were awesome for machined bike parts. :D
