I just heard yesterday that the Sept. 4 Van Halen show was postponed. Any theories?

Valerie and Eddie are getting back together and need some alone time?

Eddie and David Lee are getting to snugly on the tour bus and need some apart time?

They suck so bad that they are still lost in the enormous sinkhole that opened up underneath them when they got together for band practice?

They heard i was going to hunt the band members down and individually kick each one in the sack...

I would pay good money, maybe even give my rockcrawler away, if I could buy some sort of insurance policy that promised me I would never hear another van halen song.. Ever... Oh what a beautiful world that would be.... However instead, I have been forced to hear them every day on the radio since I was born and will be for the rest of my life... I hate that band but i know all the words to all their horrible songs.... Over played, over rated and I hope their bus gets hit by a train... Full of garbage and cows

you all are haters....VH rules!!!! that said, I wouldnt buy another concert ticket..they are serious flakey,and Its likely they wouldnt show up for thier own show.

I share Robby's disdain for VH-- with a disclaimer: first album? Nooootttt bad. But no one ever plays that, they play all the other crap.

Hey Robbie, If you have heard them everyday, why do you still listen to the same station? I feel the same way about the Beatles. That why I listen to Country for the most part. I never hear a Beatles song on the Country stations. Or a Van Halen song. I would go see Van Halen though. I will use Robbies ticket!

Pardon me for being a Van Hagar fan. I was fairly interested in the show and have reservations for tickets at our corporate suite. I'd imagine the tour will get shut down due to whatever the band's issues are. From being a fan, I'd imagine that Eddie has to be the biggest pain in the ass to work with that any of us could imagine. You can't deny his talent and creativity with a guitar. He does seem to have an issue working with other people that aren't his brother?

They're not an iconic band that changed the music industry, but they are incredibly entertaining and I was hoping the show would live up to it's potential.


I was hoping this thread would turn into something fun. Like, people throwing theories out there.

Theory #1---Valerie talked Wolfgang into quitting the tour to get back at Eddie.


People are more creative than me and it would be fun to read whatever came out. Robbie can go slobber on his Depeche Mode cassettes and I'll enjoy my Balance CD. :D

I also had a solid theory... Btw I've heard Eddie has a house in park city... Tacoma... Wanna go egg it?? And I do listen to different stations, I'll even wander across the country stuff once in a while but no matter what you are always going to hear a Beatles song at some point in your week, just like I'm probably going to hear "hot for teacher" while at the store tomorrow... It's just a crappy reality...

I really can't explain my vh hatred, I really don't hate on too much music. I even really like a lot of bands of the same genre and age of VH. But for some strange reason whenever I hear "jump!" it triggers something in my head that makes me want to cut my ears off and take a base ball bat to the radio.. Any way I'm done I'm going to go listen to depeche mode now...
