SFL Off Road

I just picked up a CJ7 that has a SFL Off Road sticker on the steering box. Just wondering who this was and if this steering box is some sort of modified steering box. Similar to an AGR box

Doesn't ring a bell. The only place around here that sounds similar, that worked on steering boxes was FNL Offroad.

FNL was the first thing i thought of too.

Then yes it could be a modified box like the AGR or just could be setup for hydro assist. he hasn't done anything in a few yrs tho.

I wondered if it had been modified for hydro assist. I did not see anything were it had any plugs installed.

The fittings would be on the inside (passenger side) of the box, just forward of the input shaft.

If it's not ported, it could have been something as simple as a rebuilt stock box. Lee would usually paint and sticker any steering box he did anything to.

Lee would paint and sticker anything he touched, even if it was just leaning on a tire
