I took my Scrambler up into Murdock Basin for a shakedown run and to put more miles on the LS break in. They must have had a lot of rain in the last few days as there were very many large pools along the way. I had forgotten how much that road shakes you up but the Jeep performed great. As I was coming out I ran into a guy who's Toyota crawler pickup was broken down way up high on the trail. The ignition was dead and he wasn't going anywhere. I ended up pulling him up the road in reverse so that we could get him to a spot where he could roll backwards and turn around. This allowed me to test out low range on the Atlas and it worked great. I then pulled him all the way out to the main highway. It was a trick to get him over all those rocks without running over the tow strap which we only did one time. He had no power steering or brakes so he got quite a workout. The only thing is I now have an annoying rattle in the dash area I need to find.
