There has been alot of talk on PBB lately about using a skil saw witha metal blade on it... The guys using it says it the jammy!!

I heard abou that a long itme ago...also by doing it this way you can set the skill saw to the proper angle...although you often have to finish the cut with a sawzall (not if you are only cutting off the lip though) I have only found one blade anywhere that is a 7" blade that is made to cut steel...they are kinda hard to find...

Just grind the FU*K out of it, That is all U need to do.............
U can grind about an inch off of it .......
I did it to mine...........

The blades are pretty easy to find at Home Depot. I've never used one on a skil saw, but have done it on my 10" table saw a bunch of times with excellent results (like when I cut some compound angles for my square-tube sliders).
