I found a good deal on a set of tires and wheels, the problem is, they're in Kentucky. Any ideas on the best/cheapest way to ship them here?

Thanks

Greg

I run a tight ship... wreck

Forward Air, hands down. Only thing is that you have to pick them up at the FA terminal, closest is probably the one in SLC.

Awhile ago I bought some retreads and they shipped for $15/tire to my door. I don't remember how they were shipped, but it might be worth looking into.

x2

I don't like having to drive to the nearest metro airport (here it is Seattle). I use Estes Express to ship all of my axles, etc. They give me a nice discount and it usually doesn't cost much more than forward air. And they will deliver/pu here, I don't have to chase it down later. That to me is worht the cost savings...

Estes Express was like $450!!

Forward Air was $170 to SLC!!

Hey Wayne can you hook me up a discount on Estes?

We could probably do that and then you just pay me for shipping. My discount is 60%, so what's that like $270? I don't have a calc in front of me right now... This woudl need to be delivered to a business with a way to unload the truck (forklift or etc). If they need to deliver to a residence, it's another $150 and $75 for a liftgate? I don't use those services, so I don't know exactly what they are.. And they also won't discount them.

Ninja edit: Or, what are you buying, I could probably get you the same tires and wheels with free shipping ;)
