Shock ID Please

I pulled a axle for a friends Van. The axle is a 10 bolt out of an 88 suburban. What are these shocks? they have the number 729041 on them and have Made in the usa stamped on them. I have not pulled them apart yet to see of the shock body is anygood though. Can I get replacement shock bodies if they are bad and are they really worth anything? Thanks

They just look like a fairly generic overload spring/shock combo... Measure extended and collapsed lengths, and I'd bet Auto Zone could get them for you... I'd bet you could find them at a trailer supply store also.
