short term housing needed for college student from Spain

I have a vet student arriving from Spain next week to do a 2 month internship at my clinic.

He is having a hard time finding affordable short term rentals- about down to weekly motel rentals.

Anyone know of any options for him? Single male in early 20s. Public transport access to area around my clinic (1200 E 3300 S SLC) important as we won't have a vehicle/

What does he needing for housing (i.e. would a bedroom work, or does he need more)? I'd need to talk to the boss but may be able to offer a room. We have trax not too far away and could possibly help with getting him to the station in the mornings.

bedroom with rights to the kitchen would probably do the trick.
