Carpenter I am NOT. I can work with metal but I do not care for carpentry in the least, although I can definitely respect the skills.

This is my carport i built in the spring of 17. I have added shelving and a air compressor dungeon over the length of time until now. Right now i have a kid diggging it down a few inches, then im going to have gravel hauled in. There is a beatiful cobble stone sidewalk that exits the side of the shop that i dont want to hide. The crazy old guy that hangs out around my shop calls it the Tree port because the large apricote tree infront of it hides most of it from the street and gives it a nice secluded feel in the summer time.

The whole thing is made out of 2 7/8" and 2 3/8" Drill stem pipe. I made the main front truss stong enough to hoist off of. The 2x4s that the roof is screwed to are close enough for me (275lbs) to walk any where on and not damage the tin roof. Its 24' Deep and 25' wide with a 11' peak down to 8' in the back. There are 20 poles cemented into the ground, most are for shelving. Its built right up to the property line, If i had had another 30" of property i would of built it another 30'. Its just big enough to park both my buggys and 4wheeler in. If the tree ever dies i may extend it forward toward the street 15'.

Finished a remodel few months back of a house I moved out of to rent out.

And here it is mostly finished. Just did the main floor, left the upstairs and basement how they were.

I replaced our kitchen sink and felt like a hero. Now after seeing these posts I feel like a lazy ass LOL.
