This is a problem with cPanel's buildapache "feature". I am looking into it now, and hopefully cPanel has fixed the problem. If not, GD will not be available until cPanel fixes the problem with their build script.

I will update you when I have more information.

For whatever reason, cPanel has not yet fixed the GD issue. Therefore, we will have to wait until cPanel updates their installer to correct the issue.

Please update this ticket in a few days if I haven't already to remind me to check back on this.
