We have been getting rain all night and morning. I thought it would be a nice fresh smell, but the smoke smell is so strong, I feel like I am sitting at a camp fire. That seems crazy to me.

My 6 year old has had a rough cough for a couple weeks now and yesterday morning was coughing hard enough that he threw up his breakfast. This kept him home from school since he couldn't stop coughing. No other sick symptoms. We ended up going to the doctor and got an inhaler to try out. I don't know what the answer is but this kid was devastated he couldn't go to school yesterday. I too had hoped the wind and rain would clear the air for his, and everyone elses, sake.

The problem is the smoke is up in the higher trough which is still bringing it in to our area. You would think the rain would knock the particulates out of the air but it hasn't.

We had one clear day in Idaho last weekend This is Redfish Lake from up above Boundry Creek Friday and Sunday it was Smokey again Actually it could have been from the music festival in Stanley too 😂

Its been a down pour out here in the west desert. A coworker has a son that lives in Cedar City and has a foot of mud and debris covering his entire property. He said his horses are knee deep in muck with more supposed to come.
