Snakes Cabin Fever Run 02Mar2013

Looks like a lot of people showed up to have a good time on Saturday... It was muddy, but it didn't keep our wheeling spirits down! I would say about 20 people were on the trail. I didn't see anyone that made it up WW and saw more than the average amount of breaks... I guess full on dry traction really does lead to more fun, but I can say that being out in the sun def helped get me pumped for easter since its closing in quick!!!

Oh man really wish I hadnt been called into work at 9 that day. Really hope it stops snowing soon and we get more good days like that so I can get out.

Was a good day! Muddy, but an awesome day! Bent my tie rod at the end of the day, when I slid off of the two step ledge on the right side next to the tree on Rattlesnake, but it was a really good day! I have a lot of fun, and it was nice to get out and enjoy the nice weather. I got some pics of my rig, but not much more than that.

Cant wait to get out again! Really makes me excited for EJS

Motorcycle accident, kid hit a berm that shot him in the air and then landed in some trees pretty hard. Had a big 4" gash across his forehead and was shaken up pretty good from the wreck. Toasted the helmet and he was wearing full gear which probably helped save his life!!!

It was a lot of fun and good to see a lot of friends and new ones. Now to chisel off all the mud on the jeep.

I suppose it is time to to drive my mess into the the shop and fix the damage to my front suspension, Do not want to miss out on any spring wheeling adventures. Man what a fun time. It was so neat to drive around the curve and suddenly realize what started as a small ride with just a few people committed to go turned into a parking lot full of tow rigs and cool people all excited about getting after it on the trail. Always a pleasant experience to meet other people who love to go wheeling as much as my self. And see the regulars again man those are the kind of experiences that keep me going. cant wait til next time, All yall are the best. Mombo. / David.

Im in the shop now too getting ready for easter.... Portal box failure on the rear driver due to WW romping! Not too bad in my book for having 40-50 trailruns on them since I've owned it (and who knows how many since 1962!!!) Im beefing the kingpins up with 4340 CTM's and putting on my spare boxes.
