I took a bunch of pictures but since I know very few of the people and their rigs I'm going to do this a little differently.
here is a link to an album on photobucket http://s959.photobucket.com/user/frieed/library/Linked/BlackFriday 2014.
Feel free to download and/or link to the photos in the album to fill out your portion of the trip report.
To do this,
  1. Click on the picture you want to link
  2. To download click the Options:download link at the middle-right of the page
  3. To link, click the Share Links: Direct link to copy the link
  4. To embed,
    1. click Insert Image icon at the top of the RME reply textbox
    2. click From URL Tab
    3. paste link into the box
    4. uncheck "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" (otherwise we will just see a thumbnail)
  5. Tell us a bit about your rig and such

p.s. I have much larger versions of the pics available, these are just the in-camera jpegs that accompany the raw image.
PM me with a link to the one you want at full resolution.

I had a BLAST and couldnt ask for a better day of wheeling! It was great meeting a lot of new faces, and seeing everyone having such a good time! I loved seeing all the kids out having a good time, they are the future of the sport. If they are having fun, you should be as well. I cant thank everyone enough for the great turn out, and how friendly everyone was to come up and say hi, and introduce themselves. I am a bit shy, so it is hard for me to come out of my shell, but it was a great trip, and I couldnt have asked for better. Frieed, thank you for taking all the pictures! I will be PMing for some high resolution versions in the next couple days if you dont mind. :D

Well, I down right couldnt have asked for a better shake down run on the buggy. It did great, and felt very stable, even with the air shocks on all 4 corners. I was really happy with how the air shock performed overall, which was a big relief when they usually seem to have a bad rap, but I was really pleased. I was really happy everything worked well, and the way I was hoping! Nothing ripped off or apart, it ran great, everything was functioning correctly, overall I was very pleased. It felt great knowing something I built basically from the ground up worked so well. I need to make a couple changes/tweaks, but nothing major. I gotta do my bent lower front links to clear the tires, build a firewall for my legs (got pretty toasty later in the day when it was warming up) finish the rear bumpstops, and a couple other things, but other than that, I couldnt have asked for a better first trip. I was really happy.

Here is a couple of my favorite pics:

Thanks for letting me tag along and thanks for being patient with both my friend and myself... I felt bad cause both of us were open front and rear making things more difficult.

If you crawl over everything without any trouble, not much of a challenge. Open diffs make you work for it and challenge you a little more.

I'm new to this forum. How do I make some of these pics bigger?

Also, I do have a few videos of some of you hitting Wayne's World. I'll see if I am smart enough to put them up later.

the one of us watching was a fun moment. Van (the 2 year old) was cheering "go go go" as the jeeps and buggies climbed Wayne's World. Then he said "I want to do it in my Jeep" ...Uh, I don't think so buddy. Then the last pic is just cool because the little man was exhausted after a great day on the trail. When he woke up, we asked if he had fun. He said he wanted to go jeeping again.

I guess my next project is to find a friend who knows carbs and get my Weber tuned up ...then head back and give Radiator Rapids another go.

Great pics! Having the kids makes wheeling 100% more fun. I'm no carb guru, but I'm sure there are a few guys on here willing to share their knowledge. Hopefully I'll be able to join the fun next time.

I normally host mine on a site like Photobucket and then imbed them with

I'm slow. :) But here are some of the pics I snapped while we were out. I knocked em down to 20% size. Some are a little blown out, so excuse the brightness... :) 93TJ killed Eagles Nest while you guys were all hangin out down at the Rapids. So I at least got some pics of that for you guys to enjoy...
