So I had plans to go to crawlfest but turns out our condo was already being rented out for the weekend so I'm no longer going. Since I already had my weekend cleared I still want to do some wheeling. Is anyone wanting to go out and wheel snakes with me?

I was thinking snakes and I was going to take my yota but if you're driving an lj I might as well match you and drive mine. I don't know anywhere in Heber to wheel. Do you?

I might be up for something in the morning. Let me know where and when. Still haven't added my sliders.

I was just gonna start a west desert snow wheelin' thread, but you all beat me to it. I'm open after 9am.

Where in Heber? I don't know of any places that are not already 5' deep and snowmobile country.

Lookin' for 1 to 2 feet of snow somewhere, Snakes is ok I guess.

Snakes is fine by me. I won't get crazy on WW without rocker protection. Still need to clear this with the boss. Maybe Chevron at 10:00?

Maverick at ten works for me. I think we've all done snakes a lot. There just isn't much more around here that's wheelable and open right now.

A couple feet of snow makes boring stuff a lot more fun. I wonder how much snow is out in Skull Valley, especially on the dirt road on the west side, heading towards White Rock.

Also dirt roads out towards Vernon have been fun in the past.

I'm hoping to just drive the jeep and not tow this time.

So is it 10AM @Chevron in Saratoga Springs? Cascadia says 10AM @Maverick. Is that the one in Eagle Mountain? Where is everyone meeting? Maverick is fine for me. I live down the street from there. I will meet wherever.

Ha. I meant chevron but since maverick has been responding to this post it worked out. Chevron at ten is what I'll plan on. Maybe I'll bring both rigs out.

I swear I responded to this...but I don't see it.

My jeep must have a twin cuz the closest it's been to Layton is the DATC in Kaysville. I'm in Draper, though I do drive it to Midvale a few times a week in the summer.

I'm gonna try to meet at the Chevron at 10...planning on driving rather than towing, we'll see how it goes. Got the charger on the jeep...

Is there Verizon/3G coverage out there?

As I remember, none going past where the main 5 mile area is, but where the turn off for the air down area where the trail head starts for the snakes, there is some coverage. Very spotty on the trail though. It cuts in and out. For how far it is out there, I was surprised to see some coverage at all.
