Snakes

Went out with Steve to show that UVSC club around snakes... oh wait that's right Steve bailed on us because he thought he should get at least a couple billable hours in this month, so he sent Mike "Bear" Taylor in his stead.

It was an enjoyable trip although it was too muddy for WW or Con (made it about half way up Radiator Rapids).

I didn't get my camera out until Kris K and I hit the Con, everyone else had parted ways by then.






All in all it was a rough day for me...



I gouged one rim



ruined another rim



dented my driveline




and managed to fall off the side of my trailer, get my front diff hung up in a stake pocket...



and have to rock crawl my trailer

It was all together a fun trip. I did notice a ton of garbage on the way out. The only place I noticed any trash on the trails was at WW. picked it up and, one of the UVSC guy's put it in his truck.

Con was a blast muddy and, slick. Meat put on a good show on Raduator but it was just to slick. Only damage I had was a bent spring hanger from humping the fang.

It was good to hear Bear tell us about U4. (I guess I better join) I had no Idea Rattle/Con was on the chopping block.

I know, I tried but you mumbled something about work. Unless you count fenders which I don't because I was smashing them into things on purpose, that is more trail damage than I've done since I bought that Blazer.

Oh ya, forgot to mention the tire marks I have on my assist fitting

I've been spending too many free hours on U4WDA! It's good though, because we're working on some fun and important stuff right now. Very exciting. Besides, I knew Bear would represent!

I hope the UVSC club gets involved. I didn't see them at the Teraflex show today, but I might have missed 'em. They said they were coming.

Yep. That is about what I saw as well. I am going to claim a medical leave on this one. My eyes were killing me when I woke up. I feel bad for missing the trip. I have to pick my battles though. :-\
