my addiction to Diet Coke. I am not a tea or coffee drinker. My question is, what do you put in water, that doesn't contain sugar or aspartame, that actually tastes good? I am open to suggestions. I need to find something else to drink, and plain water doesn't cut it for me.

This.

I have a friend who used to drink gallons of sweet tea daily. When he decided to stop, he quickly realized just drinking water wasn't going to work--he needed something with flavor for his body to be satisfied. He chose fruit punch, and had near-instant success.

As for your exact question, I regret that I have no good suggestions for you.

Kombucha. It's hippie as shit but damn it's good for you and taste pretty good too. It's a "tea" but not a leaf tea so it doesn't taste green. I usually pick up a ginger flavor now and again.

My wife is really into Kombucha. I'm too scared to try it. :D I completely believe that it's good for you.

I just drink water. I'm one of those weird guys who likes water. With all the flouride and chlorine in our city water here, I only drink filtered, spring, or mineral water.

I've been trying to chew gum instead of go for a snack, and that's been helping me. My wife has some natrual gum that doesn't have any artificial ingredients, and no aspertain, or sugar. Are you ok with Xylitol, or are you looking for zero sugar/sugar substitutes?

Good water, not all water is equal. I'm lucky my water comes from the cottonwoods and we have a reverse osmosis filter. I used to be a guy that hated drinking plain water, now I drink a gallon a day. I feel bad for you guys in Riverton...... that water tastes like crap

Second choice

Beer, after all its good filtered water with some flavor

Buy a bunch of lemons and limes.. pour a glass of water, put a wedge of lemon or lime in glass with water.. enjoy.. repeat

Also Vodka looks like water and is actually better.. Scotch and beer work too :)

Thanks for all the recommendations. I don't drink alcohol, so those options are out, but I will look into some of the others. I need to lose about 20-30lbs by November to get some serious money from our Wellness program at work. I am a procrastinator and thought I would lose it faster this summer, but I haven't. Stupid Jeep makes it more fun to drive up the mtn than hike... Besides, if my wife ever left me, I don't think I would like what this bait will catch...

Yellow or Orange Rockstar!!!!!!

I gave up all carbination except beer about 2 years ago, very happy I did. I recommend the Rockstar Recovery, especially the orange. My sis, the Doc always said energy drinks will kill me, she read the label and was shocked how little bad stuff there is in them. Low sodium, low sugar, low calorie.

I also recommend lemonade, milk, beer.
