I came home at 75mph.... you blew by me at 85? And then the cop was easily do 120++ when he blew by me to catch you, then the cop came by me again at 80+ and then you again......

I guess doing the speed limit is more like "guide lines"?

What did the cop say/do?

I think he broke 100mph on the way down. The best part is, that was the second time he was pulled over this weekend. Warnings given on both occasions:p

Last time I got pulled over...... I was like "hey officer..... didnt you see Keil? He was going way faster than I was." And he said: "Yeah... but there was no way I was going to catch him."

I figure you can now go at least 85 mph in the 80 speed limit test areas right??....but I suppose they enforce the speed limit in those areas more strictly.

I usually Just find a speed demon to follow at a distance so they flush out all the cops before I come along :D

I'm all game for running fast, just not with my crawler on a trailer.

Funny thing about the above statement... I run to and from Flaming George pulling the fifthwheel and boat at 80mph... Funny how sometime we feel it is ok and other times we don't.

After towing with a V10, I never knew you could actually accelerate up hills........well, that was until this weekend.

Hey, I think Kiel passed me on the way home too! AND, I left on Saturday morning!! I figured I had to do close to the speed limit this time, I am SO over-due for a ticket :D
I really just wasn't in that big of a hurry I guess, and besides the term "Black Gold" is really starting to mean something! It just doesn't pay to own a Diesel anymore :(

I paid $6000 extra to get the Diesel! At least with the diesel you could drag a house down the freeway at 90 and still get 12 MPG :)

Well... hmmmmmm... Well long story short is we passed shawn between cedar city and Beaver I believe. Then going up the pass outside of beaver and Filmore we were passing a car in the insdie lane doing 75 up the hill and inside car doing 65, when arounf hte bend was the uhp with a suv pulled over. We then preceed, down the hill and after about 10 miles we pass another kodiak type gmc truck pulling horses going 80 in the 80 we were going 80-85 so it took a minute or 2 to pass him. By the time I was getting ready to pull over into the right lane, said officer is on my ass no lights I'm going 85 in the 80. We then whips along side us and looks at marcus pointing us to get over so he speeds ahead and I start to move over only to have him pull over the shoulder when I'm half way into the right lane. I get back over to the inside lane to give him shoulder room and then he hits the brakes and pulls me over. He then goes into his speil about hom we should be in the right lane which I was getting over and then he said I didn't get over when he pointed which I pointed out to him I was but he got to the shoulder which they tell us to give them one lane room. Make up your damn mind !! He said he was behind me for 2 minutes with his lights on before I got over which I check my mirror every 30 seconds or sooner, So I knew that was BS. He took my info and came back and said I was lucky that he had another call that he was going to. Apparently that call was pulling over on the shoulder at Filmore to catch a nap. I'm nothing short of polite when getting pulled over, this guy was a douche. The sherriff in St geroge was just checking to make sure we were not tired or drunk etc. Very courteous etc.
