I have been telling this story to everybody, just to see if Im being irrational becuase its just so dumb. If I were trying to move into a buddies place that was doing me a favor, I would be all over there any chance I can get. He knows it's a big priority for me also, since I completely stopped working on the buggy and went to the house

My ex and I had one of my old friends as a roommate in a house we owned. We did it more as a favor than a need of money. It totally sucked b*lls. I ended up smashing his face with a lamp.
rooming and money turns friendship cross ways fast! this goes for relationships as well

I don't even know you and I would hold a dust pan. I had a roommate for awhile to help out with $$. I don't miss the money and I don't miss having a roommate!

I had the same roomate for 6 years before I got married, we didnt have one single argument that whole time. if he would have pulled the dust pan stunt, I would have used his hat as a dustpan, and put it back on his head and kicked his a$$ out.

I would take it in context, and think about the big picture. If this is the same friend that was overseas and wouldn't talk about it, I would give him a little time. He has been your friend for many years and you've only been in your current situation for a couple of months.
Don't roommate, but be patient the way you would want if the roles were reversed.
