Just bought a 91 xj and now I'm looking to get parts for it... and every catalog I have only shows TJ stuff... so I'm looking for a good place to buy some stuff and want to hear where you all get your parts....

When you say parts do you mean replacement or OEM, or upgrades.....ect?
same question, and/or suspension, exterior, interior, motor/tranny/axles, etc.

Here are some to start with:

rubiconexpress.com
rockkrawler.com
rustysoffroad.com
bigoffroad.com
ajsoffroadarmor.com

You can get used parts off of what's left of my rolled 95 XJ. :D
so whats all left.... I'm looking for a high flow (62mm) throttle body and air intake system, a RE lift kit (4 or 5.5), and a tire carrier rear bumper.....

PM me if you have any of these....

Look up quadratech on the net my friend. Never go to the ****ing dealer!!!!!
Here is a hint to anyone looking for jeep OEM type parts. DO go the the dealer...Make friends with the parts guy....Tell him you want to see if said part is offered from Crown. For example...I got a 220.00 steering shaft the other day for 86 bucks...brand new.

The dealer is your friend if you know how to play it right.

As far as XJ parts...Yeah go to Naxja. Dave at cutrubus will cut you wholesale deals(or close too) if you are a member of naxja.

OR go to Mepco or any other parts dealer and by your crown or Omix parts there. I'm sure dealers mark up their parts more than the other parts stores. It's not that you got a $220 steering shaft for $86, it's more like you didn't pay $220 for an $86 steering shaft.

I also recomend checking with DaveB for most of your parts. He's a awesome guy to deal with and he'll help you out as best he can. He's practically sponsored my YJ buildup.

From what I know, he's actually sponsored more than a few buildups! ;) Plus... he'll even show you his beautiful project for free! :D

Just an FYI, Current U4WDA members get a discount at Larry H Miller Jeep in Sandy (talk to Josh, not only an RME'er, but a great guy!!!) :D;)

Thanks for the endorsements, I have lots of used stock XJ parts if that is what you want. If you are looking for the aftermarket stuff follow crimsonride's and the other suggestions. I have also found lots of Omix and similar parts on the web and either ordered from the sites or gone to Mepco or some of the other shops and told them what I found the part for on the web and they have matched the price.

So you are saying the dealers mark up their prices but Mepco doesn't?

There has never been a time...not once that I couldn't find parts cheaper then Mepco.
They are truly on my black list as far as buying parts go.
