Pfffft. I can do that with my drill press and a dremel tool, and I'll have less setup changes too.




Seriously though that is 100% bad ass. If you have never had the chance to watch a fully automated machine like that run, find an opportunity, its super neat. What they didn't show but I assume it can or does is tool change. The machine will swap its own tooling, from a drill to a tap, etc. Then enter pallet changers in which after that part is done, the doors automatically open and the next chunk of raw material automatically rolls in, door shuts and its back working. Less downtime on millions of dollar machines :cool:

I used to work for a guy who shared shop space with my Dad. He had two Fadal CNC mills one Fadal CNC lathe and another Hyundai lathe, also CNC. Nothing like this machine. I didn't do any programing, just pushed the "go" button, checkeed parts and swapped out tools. Kind of miss that job. I love watching these machines at work...when everything worked right. :D
