When watching the show, did you ever feel like he was a scum bag?

Agreed, I also (in the few episodes I've watched) assumed he owned Red Jacket. Interesting that it's Joe Meaux and that he would let Will treat his business like he does.

That's what I thought too? I can't stand the show but it seems like one of the few times I watched it he mentioned that he built the company for his daughter, or something like that?

I think he use to own the business and no longer does. I also know that he lost his and his daughter's license to make guns and had to use Vince's.
