Southwest Crawlfest... what went wrong?

Just found this. FACT= from his mouth land use donations raffle He is advertising and looking for more sponsors for future events. Of course this was posted before all this S@#$ hit the fan. I wonder how all of the sponsors feel about what has happened. Does Ect off-road and poison spider know what has happened or Not happened with the funds for the raffle that they so generously donated to?

I do not think that was there intention. Just interesting that they have new tires, engine and so forth. I think that was the only point they were trying to make.

While I can't view steves fb page, I can view ashleighs, his daughter. I don't feel like she should be drug through the mud on this issue but she did say she was excited for KOH, the new engine in the sammy, new tires, new cage and a paint job. Wonder when Steve came into such good fortune?

I could be wrong, but the Bowermedia is the same guy that did the website? Odds are he did get paid, as he is a friend to Steve. Hell my cousin took 2,000+ pictures for free. I feel bad now that he let the guy with the laptop during the raffle download all his pictures.

Uh, I doubt that. Seth is 100% a standup guy. If he did get paid, I'd be shocked if it was more than reimbursement for up-front expenses (software, domain registration, hosting, etc.)

Its cool....I didnt feel that it had reached that point yet, just hopeing to influence the direction of the thread before it did ooze into innocent family members.

The guy that did the web site work was, once again, asked by Steve Crabtree for help and is unrelated as far as being an accomplice, like you're insinuating. He's a damn good guy and isn't involved in any shady dealings. In the end, there is one guy that put the event together (Steve Crabtree) that same guy is the only one that knows where all the money went.

The guy that did the web site hasn't been paid a dime, even though Crabtree claims thousands of dollars in expenses and hosting costs for 4 months of having his site online. Anyone that knows anything about hosting a web site knows that price absurd.

Definitely not trying to involve his family at all! Just found it interesting he has all that new stuff with out even having a job. So where did the money come from for all those nice upgrades? That's all I was trying point out. Sorry for any confusion...
