Spanish Fork Canyon Closed due to Mudslide

some reports from friends on FB that there was a slide about 3-5 miles west of soldier summit, right around where the rail line crosses under the highway. Anyone else have more info?

I drove through this morning. It is open, but 1 lane in each direction.

I sat in the line for an hour last night on the Price side, I rode my mountain bike up to the slide at about 9:30 PM and there was no clean up activity at that time, your right it is on the Spanish fork side right in front of the bridge. the slide covered the west bound lanes up to the height of the concrete barriers and also allot of mud and huge 2.5' diameter boulders in the East bound lanes. some 4x4 trucks were going thru it on the east sholder, it was only about 2 feet deep, until the UHP got there and shut it down

on a side note I drove back to Helper and traveled up Indian Canyon around to Salt Lake, I have not done that drive since the thistle mudslide.......got home just befor 3 am..
