I didn't see anything remotely offensive to disabled people. :ugh:

Thanks for the warning, I despise that. (they don't resize mine ;) )

On a related note, I hate how a window will pop to the top when it thinks you should be using it (I'm not talking about web pop ups)

Oh and I guess some people have nothing better to do.

They talked about it this morning on x 96 for a bit. Pretty much much the jist was that ben still and robert downy play actors in the movie and they were talking about a role that stiller did called special jack which was retarded. Well they went on to say "in the movie" that when you play a retard you always get an oscar lol. But ben didn't because he went to far in his retard role. Then robert downy told him you can never go full tard. lol. This is all in the move I guess. I hate it when movies have real actors play actors in a movie:rolleyes:

I was ranting about this on another forum. Seriously... it's a word. Would I walk up to a disabled person and call them a retard? Hell no, and I'd probably have words with someone who did. Would I call the white trash flatbiller at walmart who is paying for beer with nickles a retard? Oh yeah.

If they want to protest, let em. Why hammer them for wanting that right? You have a forum to vent steam, also it gives them something productive to do. It is just like Robert Downy Jr. said in the article, Everyone has the right to say something somewhere that is meaningful. I think they are "growing some skin" by protesting.

the word retard doesn't bother me.. well the only time it bothers me is when the people say it about my neighbors in the care center. but yeah retard means alot of things just like "retarding a motor" retard also means "delayed, slow, or late" but oh well if you are using it to bring down a mentally challenged person, then that is just messed up.
i have lived next to a care center all my life and i do have respect for them. they are people too!

My buddy thought about going into the sticker business, and of course he would be an equal opportunity seller. He thinks a big seller could be one to put on the helmets that some handicaps wear.

It would say:

"Je$u$ Punk'd me"

Perhaps another one that could work locally here in Utah, albeit it would need a small font:

"I made a bet with God in the Pre-Mortal life...and lost"

There was a girl with I think Cerebral Palsy that used to come to Sanctuary when it was open and I bounced there... she would often wear a shirt that had the handicapped logo on it captioned "I'm not handicapped, I'm just lazy". She was cool as hell, great sense of humor.
That bet with god made me lol.
