Yea. Steve Maxfield and his and Dave's rigs.View attachment 122229 Saw these guys a few hours ago just outside of truckee. I recognize the Durango on the back from here.
No idea what they are.
I'm thinking Grunt. I think I remember they were built by the same guys that did the Bummer, but this is an S-10 based thing instead of the full size.
Volvo PV544 and a Citroen Type-H. Very cool! I always thought the Type-H was a neat looking vehicle and would be perfect for a food truck.
Too late... last I saw he only had the white one... now he has two...I know what they are. F***ing hideous is what they are.
Someone needs to kill those quick, before they breed.

The Utes sticker says it all
ScreenshatOn this page, about 4/5 the way to the bottom there's a little bit of info. http://www.kitcarlist.com/discontinued.html
Apparently I remembered wrong. The Runt was the S-10, the Grunt is the Suburban one. (and both came after the Bummer ended)
I've seen an orange grunt heading west on 80 about 2 weeks ago. Used to be a yellow one that parked on west temple and about 3900 s. They were built on full size blazer chassis and the business was around 2100 and redwood
I remember them being more around Airgas somewhere.
According to the pic Herzog posted they were right next to Airgas and the Pick n Pull on 3300 S.
